Uplighting is the quiet hero of every great event. A dozen well-placed wireless uplighters can take a tired function room and turn it into a venue that feels designed — washing walls, accenting architectural features and pulling the whole space into your chosen colour palette.
Our uplighters are fully wireless and run on internal batteries, so there are no extension leads taped down across your dance floor. We programme them to your colour scheme before delivery and can set timed scene changes for the evening reception.

Questions people ask
- What do uplighters actually do?
- They sit on the floor against a wall or feature and wash it in colour. A dark function room, a marquee lining or a stone wall changes completely once the room is lit in your colours — it's the cheapest way to transform a venue.
- Are they wireless?
- Yes. They run on batteries, so there are no cables across the floor and no need to be near a socket. That's what lets us place them anywhere in the room.
- What colours can we have?
- They're programmable, so we set them to the colour you want — wedding colours, a brand colour for a corporate event, or something seasonal like red and green for Christmas. Tell us when you book and we'll set them before we leave.
- How many do we need?
- It depends on the room. As a rough guide, eight to ten lift a typical function room or marquee, picking out the main walls and any features. Tell us your venue and we'll suggest a number.
- Can we add them to light up letters?
- Yes, and most of our wedding bookings do exactly that. The letters give you the focal point and the uplighters set the mood of the whole room; both go on the same booking and the same delivery.
- Who sets them up?
- Our own team. We deliver in an agreed 9am–2pm window, position and set each light, then collect after the event. Delivery is worked out from your venue's postcode.
